What Doesn't Kill You....
Have you ever gone through a season in your life and you weren't sure how it was going to end, or when it was going to end, or even if you would make it out alive? Have you ever thought to yourself "I literally think I'm going crazy", and actually meant it? What does "crazy" mean anyways? By Google's definition, crazy either means mentally deranged, especially as manifested in a wild or aggressive way, or extremely enthusiastic.
While the mind can be a driving force within itself, it can also be a very fragile and delicate vessel. One's mind has the power to build up or tear completely down. Most of us can keep a certain degree of control over our thoughts and minds, but what happens when you lose control of your mind, even if it's just for a short time. What do you do then? Some people might take a nap and sleep it off, other's may have a drink. Maybe you pray? Or talk to someone? There's countless ways to get you mind back on track when it's fallen off it's course.
But then there are other times you feel that none of your normal coping methods are working, then what? I guess I'm wondering how other people cope with inner chaos, not only from a mental perspective, but a spiritual angle as well. How do you detangle life when it get's out of control? Is it true that what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger? I believe it does. I can't think of any storm I've gone through in my entire life, even as a child, that didn't give me the endurance I have today, or the strength. Sometimes we just need to reflect on that to find our way out of the mess. And even though we might not always be able to see the silver lining, sometimes we just have to keep going a little further for it to be visible.
