Are YOU Willing?
Everyone has goals (or at least you should). Everybody has a dream. Everybody has something that they'd like to do. But what are you willing to do to see those dreams come true? How much work are you willing to do to succeed? Are you willing to lose friends and others along the way to reach your goal?
What's a passion to one may be a simple hobby to another. My husband has a true and honest passion for music. Me, I love music. I love to listen to all genres from Elton John to Jay Z to Reba McIntyre to Andre Bocelli, you name it. But music is not my passion. I'm not willing to shed blood, sweat, and tears for music. My passion is to motivate. To help change lives. And to make an impact in other's lives, no matter how big or small. I crave to inspire others. It brings me joy to uplift others. That's my thing.
There should be at least one thing in your life that you really can't live without. Something that moves you forward. But often times, those things require work to maintain and to grow. You may have to start off slow and develop from there. Or you may come across stumbling blocks along the way. Are you willing to get back up and keep going? There may be people in your life that don't share the same vision as you, but are you going to actually support those people? Remember, actions speak louder than words, and that's what separates dreams from reality.
Keep people in your circle who will uplift you when you need it. Surround yourself with others who will apply a bandaid when life cuts you. A simple text or a call (I'm a texter, myself). I like to send text messages as small reminders to people that I'm thinking of them. Not even a word, maybe just an emoji. LOL My point is that it doesn't take a lot to make an effort. You just have to do it.
