I've just recently realized how important it is to live your purpose, or at least make the steps in the right direction to do so. In order to "live life to it's fullest", this is pretty much a requirement. I'm not afraid to admit that this took me 36 years to find out. And it was such a slow process.
I've always been good at writing, and this has always been one of my inner enjoyments. I've always known that I've had a way with words, but I never really knew what I could do with it. A few years ago, I had read "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren (and AWESOME book, btw). This book really got my wheels turning. What is my purpose? What would I do with it once I knew what it was? Who cares? I slowly started to put the pieces to the puzzle together. I used my love for writing and my passion for helping others and came up with this site.
So my question to you is this: What do you feel your purpose is? What do you feel you are put here to do? Some feel their purpose in life is to just be happy. Well, what makes you happy? When you really start to contemplate what this is, it should open up some doors in your mind. And hopefully get your wheels turning too!
Once you've narrowed down what your purpose is, what are you gonna do with it? That's the part that had me stuck the longest. I tend to be a bit indecisive at times, so I kept going back and forth between different ideas, maybe I wanna be a world renowned writer, or an upcoming new music producer, or maybe I should just stick to being a mom. Whatever you feel you were put here for, nothing is too great or too small to fulfill, and who says you have to limit yourself to ONE purpose?
Just somethin to think about...
